We are fortunate to have a strong public school system and some excellent private schools in our mountain community. Many children are home-schooled and there is a good network of parents who participate in these programs.
Ninety eight per cent of our public school children ride the school busses. This gives our children a wonderful chance to build friendships and share after-school activities. Because of the need for bus access, an added bonus for our community is excellent road maintenance and priority plow for snow removal.
